Medical Collections/Account Representative

Primary responsibilities:

? Answer incoming calls regarding patient accounts

? Collection of insurance and personal patient balances via phone

? Follow-up on insurance claims for physician, anesthesia, therapy, orthotics, assistant surgeon and facility billings

? Identify & appeal problem payers regarding incorrect coding or payment issues

? Create aging by payer Account Receivable reports

 

Requirements:

? High school diploma or equivalent

? Must have 2-3 years of medical collection experience

? Organized, efficient and detail-oriented

? Patient service attitude and ability to multi-task

? Experience with Microsoft Windows applications

 

Hours:

? 8:00am ? 4:30pm Monday - Friday
