Medicare Team Lead - Accounts Receivable

We are currently seeking a Team Lead for our Medicare Accounts Receivable team in the Reimbursement Department. The team lead is responsible for overseeing all processes and procedures for departmental employees. These responsibilities include providing training for new employees, on-going education of intermediate employees, assistance in coordination of work process flows, and informational support. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties and responsibilities of base position as provided (Billing Approval, A/R, Insurance Verification, Pre Auth, Inbound or Payment Posting)Assists supervisor/manager with elevated employee questionsIntermediate employee coaching/trainingLeads by example to promote professionalism in all areasAssists supervisor/manager with employee training and development initiativesDemonstrates accountability and responsiveness to the needs of clientsLeads by example to promote professionalism in all areasMonitors internal errors OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists supervisor/manager with employee incentivesConducts training meetings within work groupPeriodic meetings with Corporate Trainer to discuss departmental training needs and strategiesCreates and augments reporting structures to evaluate training and education effectivenessFollows all Medicare, Medicaid and Private Insurance regulations and requirementsActively participates in Continuous Quality ImprovementDemonstrates thoroughness with all work related activities; strives to continually improve quality and productivity results displayed by department personnel on an ongoing basisAbides by all policies, procedures, and protocols set forth in the departmental, CCS Medical Personnel and Administrative Policy ManualsParticipates in educational programs and in-house meetings on product information and new proceduresMaintains and promotes patient confidentialityMaintains open lines of cummunication with Administration, department management and other departmental personnelAssumes other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Department SupervisorMaintains scheduling flexibility to ensure availability to meet the needs of the department for all hours of operationAbides by all policies, procedures and protocols set forth in the departmental, CCS Medical Personnel and Administrative Policy Manuals
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
? Extensive MEDICARE experience is required!
? Associate?s Degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred, and one to two years billing experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
? Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and correspondence; ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
? Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
? Ability to solved practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form DESIRED KEY COMPETENCIES
