Office Manager - Medical CredentialLicensing

NightForceHorizon Radiology is looking for an experienced medical administrator to handle credentialing of our physicians in hospitals around the nation as we maintain and add clients to our Teleradiology practice.  This position is also responsible for office management duties as well.

 Fill out reappointment applications for all physicians, copy and mail to hospitals with all current licensure and cover letter. Keep Physician licensure current, order renewals on-line or by mail, copy licensure and distribute to all facilities.  (State licenses, DEA, DPS certificates)Keep Texas Standardized Credentialing Application current for all Physicians.  Check fax machine for messages, requests, etc.  Shred any documents that pertain to patient informationAnswer all correspondence, requests pertaining to physician credentialing.Keep Medical Staff Coordinator list current for all hospitals.Update Physician Profiles with renewed information and disseminate to Account Managers.Update hospital privilege list for all facilities as privileges are granted. Maintain notes related to all credentialing activities in CRM databaseFill out all peer reference letters for Physicians and fax/mail to hospitals Fill out applications for medical malpractice insurance Apply for new state licensure as requested by Physicians.Order all suppliesCoordinate office maintenanceHIPAA compliant communication practicesExperience working in JCAHO accredited environmentAny bookkeeping experience is a substantial PLUS
