The NYU Clinical Cancer Center, an NCI-designated cancer center, is seeking experienced, highly-motivated professionals with excellent customer service skills to join our team.

 

Financial Counselor

In this vital role you will assist private pay patients to find funding for their treatment.  The successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and third-party payors, including eligibility, benefit design and reimbursement methods. Excellent communication skills with patients and their families, physicians, nurses and other employees are required. BA/BS degree is strongly preferred.

 Patient Account Representative

Candidates sought in the areas of billing, data entry & collections. Related experience in outpatient hospital facility-based billing with knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid & third-party billing required. Experience with SMS Invision billing system, Premis/NDC and Excel is a plus.

 

Registration Representative

Individuals will complete registration and insurance verification of new and returning patients. Successful candidates should have at least 1 year experience in registering patients in a hospital environment, insurance verification and obtaining authorizations. Must have knowledge of HMOs, PPOs, POSs, Indemnity insurance and data entry. Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment is required.
