Planning Analyst - Advocate Health Care

Advocate Health Care is the largest fully integrated not-for-profit health care delivery system in metropolitan Chicago and we?re recognized as one of the top 10 systems in the country. We own and operate 10 hospitals and over 200 sites of care.

 

We are currently seeking a full-time Planning Analyst to provide information management, data collection, analytical support and other staff support to Business Development team members to grow system and site market share.

 

The Planning Analyst will provide data collection, analytical support and other staff support to Director, IDS/Network Planning and Development and Senior Planning Associates in support of strategic planning, network planning, marketing and other projects for the Advocate system. Projects examples include preparation of quarterly growth report, data gathering for dashboard of strategic indicators, data retrieval and analysis for hospital and physician group acquisition analyses, etc.
Provide data retrieval and market research from both primary and secondary sources and analysis including application of computer-based quantitative analyses. Prepare initial drafts of reports and presentations outlining project findings for review by Director or Senior Planning Associates.

 

 

The Qualified Candidate Must Have:
BA/BS or equivalent degree
5 years experience in a related area (i.e. marketing, strategic planning, finance) with a consulting firm or health care organization.
Strong computer skills including use of spreadsheets and database packages
Exposure to key planning and marketing software packages and databases (e.g. Sachs, Compdata, T2)
Strong project management skills
Emerging industry understanding/awareness
Strong technical skills (marketing, planning, and finance)
