Program Manager-Healthcare field

Description: Provide overall management of peri-approval clinical studies within the Program Coordinating Center (PCC) to meet and exceed client satisfaction. Lead, motivate and inspire stability in a dedicated project team in those activities that support a Clinical study/program. General areas of responsibility include: project assessment and initiation, resource planning and budgeting, project implementation and on-going management, leading, motivating and tracking team performance, milestone planning and tracking to ensure that projects are progressing according to contract/budget, deliverable schedule, client expectations, quality standards, SOPs, ICH and/or other guidelines to fulfill local regulations. Build and maintain effective relationships within company and with the client. Responsible for defining project plans, adherence to budget and client reports and documents as related to the PCC. Undertake the full range of duties relevant to the leadership, management and development of a culturally diverse cross-functional team to ensure their performance meets and or exceeds both the business and their own personal goals/objectives Promote and maintain high standards of work ethics and effectively communicate the project goals to the team. Manage the workload in a way that demonstrates efficiency and balance within the team. Maintain a positive, results orientated work environment, building partnerships and modeling teamwork, communicating to the team in an open, balanced and objective manner Ensures the team maintains proficiency in the use of company technical and tracking tools.
Experience: Education: BA/BS degree in science or industry related field. M.S./M. Sc/M.A. preferred.
Minimum Work Requirements: 2 to 3 years of project management, team leadership or management experience, preferably in a Clinical Research Organization (CRO) or pharmaceutical company.

Detail-oriented; strong interpersonal and negotiation skills; motivated to work consistently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. Understanding of clinical trials within the CRO industry. Demonstrated written and oral communication skills, including coaching and mentoring skills. Demonstrated understanding of workflow process, and roles and responsibilities of multiple functional areas. Demonstrated ability to understand, explain and communicate project concepts and create a detailed project plan. Ability to travel as required.
