As the leading dental practice management group in the Northeast, we?re providing business, operational and marketing services to dentists throughout 87 locations in New York, New England, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Indiana As our growth continues, recruitment activities are underway for a Provider Credentialing Adminsitrator.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Support supervisor of Plan Contract Management & Provider Credentialing with administrative duties related to managed care / insurance programs.Review provider participation applications & enroll doctors in managed care programsMaintain and update fee schedules, co-pay schedules & plan edsign within propretary software programMaintain and audit MS Access database referencing network participation datesSupport field personnel regarding insurance related questionsOther responsibilities as assigned
Our ideal candidate will have advanced computer systems proficiency, 3 years proven clerical / admin experience in a high-volume patient insurance or related environment and excellent organizational skills. Working knowledge of various payor categories (PPO, DHMO, Indemnity, etc.) preferred. Strong decision-making abilities & the ability to effectively interact with corporate departments & field personnel are essential to this position.
