Reimbursement Manager / Home Health Billing and Collections

One of the largest home healthcare agencies in the state of Nebraska is seeking an experienced reimbursement manager.  This person will be responsible for managing the accounting / medical billing team and will develop and implement processes to ensure accurate and efficient A/R claims and collections.  OVersee and ensure accuracy of cash receipts.  Prepare financial statements and reports needed to analyze monthly billing and collections.  Be able to analyze profitability.  Develop and implement electronic claims processes for all insurance carriers.  Will participate in planning and policy making committees. Adherence to Federal, State and company standards and regulations.

 

The right person will live in or be willing to live in the Omaha area.  They will have solid experience and knowledge of account receivables management.  Knowledge of contracting, negotiating and claims preparation/collection.  Able to analyze financial data.  Strongly prefer a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, will consider someone without a degree if they have a minimum of 3 years experience in high-level receivables or accounting.  Must have 3 yrs accounting experience in healthcare and strongly prefer knowledge of OASIS or home healthcare.
