Senior Financial Business Analyst

Summary:

 

The Senior Financial Business Analyst will focus on supporting the organization's overall pharmacy initiatives and objectives.

 

Responsibilities:

 

-Network development presentation, RFP, and contract support
-Pharmacy negotiation tracking and analysis
-Development of pharmacy standard reporting
-Pharmacy rate threshold management
-MAC factor adjustment management
-Tracking contractual guarantees and plan changes
-Reporting financial guarantees
-Assisting in the implementation of acquisitions and company initiatives
-Pharmacy Network Software implementation and support
-Development of departmental polices and procedures and training manuals
-Ad hoc reporting and special projects

 

Requirements: 

 

-Bachelor's degree in a quantitative based field (I.e. Math, Statistics, Finance, Accounting)
-Relevant advanced degree (I.e. MBA) or certification (I.e. CPA, CMA, CFM) a plus
-3 to 6 years of relevant work experience, preferably with pharmacy/healthcare reporting
-Pharmacy Benefit Management, healthcare or managed care experience highly preferred, but not required
-Significant presentation and full life cycle project management skills
-Demonstrated intermediate to expert level proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Access
-Proven quantitative experience and ownership of projects
-Must be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
-Must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication and decision making skills
-Must be able to simultaneously manage large, complex projects
