Primary responsibilities include:
Evaluating and presenting information that will facilitate decision-making
Maintaining and enhancing the financial budgeting and forecasting process
Assisting in analyzing revenue and medical cost trends
Creating pro forma financial models to support business development projects
Establishing and maintaining the data integrity and credibility of all analysis and reports
Providing analytical support in measuring operational metrics and process efficiencies
Coordinating period-end accruals and adjustments with corporate accounting team
Responding to external financial auditors, CMS and other regulatory sources
May assist in the development of department operational and/or strategic plans, including identification of objectives, goals, action plans and budgets
Substantial accounting or finance experience is required, as well as a related bachelor’s degree. Healthcare experience is preferred, as is experience in a large company. PC proficiency is a must.
