Sr. Manager - Patient Accounts

We are seeking a Sr. Manager of Patient Accounts to join our team.  The successful candidate will have strong A/R analysis and collections experience, in either a vendor or hospital environment with ability to motivate a staff to achieve key performance productivity standards while maintaining service excellence. This position oversees ongoing review of accounts receivable, aging trends, assignment of work files, and staff productivity and training.

 

To be considered, you must have the following: 

 

A minimum of 5 years of healthcare experience with a proven leadership and performance improvement record, preferably in both PAS and PFS work environments.


Working knowledge of all revenue cycle functional processes, including on-line insurance verification systems.


Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving and writing skills, with a "take-charge" approach.

 

Strong knowledge of relevant legal, regulatory and compliance issues, including but not limited to HIPAA privacy, Fair Debt & Collection Act guidelines, Medicare & Medicaid regulations, state and federal laws.


Ability to interact with various management and staff levels.


Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Power Point. Ability to type a minimum of 40 wpm.

Ability to multi-task and to specifically perform a wide variety of tasks that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.


Ability to affectively communicate and manage conflicts in task priorities within required time frames.
