We?re currently looking for a proven leader to plan, develop, organize and direct our quality and care management systems.

 

 VP of Quality and Care Management

Responsibilities include:

? Enhancing the continuity and coordination of care throughout our hospital

? Tracking and improving clinical, financial and service outcomes for department?s population

? Developing and promoting the use of care management tools to support the practice of evidenced-based medicine

? Supporting our ongoing quality improvement and accreditation initiatives

? Creating and sustaining a credible vision for the department

? Providing departmental direction, performance requirements, work processes and resources

? Ensuring that the department consistently achieves an impressive level of performance and staff satisfaction

? Sustaining an open communication with staff, physicians and other key professionals

? Assuring the employees exhibit and practice our mission

? Exemplifying the highest professional/personal ethical standards

? Continuing to maintain knowledge of current health care/quality care management practices and trends

 

Qualifications include:

? Master?s degree in nursing, public health, health administration or related discipline

? Minimum eight years? experience in a healthcare field

? Minimum five years? management experience in a healthcare and/or managed care organization

? Establishing effective interpersonal relationships with all levels of personnel, medical staff and community

? Strategic planning and project planning experience

? Maintaining excellent working relationships with key external groups, including state/local agencies

? Managing multiple workplace demands and setting realistic and obtainable priorities
