Vendor Relations Coordinator
Position Summary
This position will be primarily responsible for assisting in the management of multiple facets of program/Intervention implementation and maintenance. The Vendor Coordinator will acquire a thorough knowledge of all external vendors, their products, contract terms, policies and procedures. The Vendor Coordinator is to be the external vendor expert at XLHealth and assist in ensuring smooth and effective communication, as well as quick resolution of issues. The Coordinator will serve, in conjunction with the Manager of Vendor Relations, as the liaison between all XLHealth departments and the vendor partners. The Coordinator will ensure operational excellence and continual two-way communication as well as maintaining excellent relationships with vendor partners and internal XLHealth staff. The Coordinator will apply project management discipline to vendor partner relationships. This position will also work closely with the Manager, Vendor Relations to ensure adequate documentation and infrastructure is created to allow accurate tracking and reporting of outcomes to management.
General Responsibilities
? Responsible for creating and maintaining timelines to help ensure the timely implementation of the interventions, activities, etc. to support the organizations business model and clients. Assist in the creation of high quality analysis deliverables, such as work flow diagrams, policies and procedures, project timeline documents and throughput reports.
? Ensure that processes are being appropriately documented to support the ongoing operations of the project.
? Work with outsourced partners/vendors and Manager, Vendor Relations to ensure coordination of services in a timely and accurate fashion. Assist in the preparation of appropriate progress and throughput reports.
? Spearhead support to internal and external team members for day to day problem solving; responsible for deep understanding processes to aid in the support and troubleshooting of the implementation and ongoing operations of the project.
? Provide input and recommendations with analytical insight in a concise and timely manner to support present and future operations organizations activities, interventions, etc.
? Ability to work as an individual, as well as part of a team to recommend solutions to support the program and meet the organization?s business requirements
? Maintain strong focus on internal and external partner/vendor relationships and resolution of day to day problems that impede the operational flow and process of the program.
Required Education and Experience
? Bachelor's degree in business and/or administration, or appropriate combination of extensive experience and education.
? Minimum 2 years experience in the healthcare field involved with projects involving multiple partners, vendors, and initiatives.
? 1 year project management experience preferred.
? Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
? Experience with disease management programs preferred.
? Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required.
? Experience with financial and statistical reporting, as well as project reporting, is preferred.
? Excellent organizational and time management skills
? Self starter, with strong attention to detail
