Hospitality Aide

About the Company At Caldwell Care Center, we are accepting applications for Full-time Hospitality Aides for the PM shift only. The shift starts at 2:30 p.m. and ends at 11:00, varied days. Aides help feed residents, make beds, and assist CNAs. Satisfactory performance leads to becoming a Nursing Assistant and learning the knowledge and skills to become caregivers. We then send successful candidates to CNA class to earn the CNA certification. This position is a good way to see if Long Term Care or Nursing is the career for you. About the Opportunity From serving the food, to handling the laundry, to making the bed - your help will be valued by the Nurses and other staff. Doing your job well allows them to focus on caring for our residents' other needs. Responsibilities:
Pass meal trays, offer basic tray set-up, serve food and bus dishes in the dining room; may assist residents with feeding

Make residents' beds; label their clothing and belongings; distribute personal and facility laundry

Transport or escort residents to areas within the facility, e.g. dining room, activities, resident care conferences, etc.

Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct, appropriate professional standards and applicable state and federal laws.


Qualifications


Should be patient, polite and able to communicate effectively with residents and their families. Must have the ability to learn infection control techniques. A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
