Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist

Kronos Longevity Research Institute is in need of a Medical Assistant. KLRI is a state-of-art medical research organization that conducts cutting edge clinical research on the prevention of age-related diseases and the extension of healthier human life.

The successful candidate will welcome participants to the facility, perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, physical measurements, EKG, blood drawing, intravenous catheter placement, process, store and distribute human biological samples and manage and maintain medical supplies, biologicals and pharmaceuticals.

Additional duties will involve data entry, maintenance and revision of research study forms, preparation and maintenance of medical records and patient-related electronic spreadsheets, assist in maintenance, scheduling and tracking of study medications, schedule participant appointments, as well as other duties as assigned by the Study Coordinator.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Two years of relevant work experience is required
Ability to efficiently perform venipuncture, place intravenous catheters and utilize sterile technique
Must be proficient with medical terminology
Must be computer literate with solid data entry skills
Successful candidate must have excellent communication skills

This position is currently a part-time position, but has the potential to become full-time.
