We currently have an excellent opportunity available for an On-site Coordinator, Hospital-to-Home at our Philadelphia, Pennsylvania facility.

Task will include obtaining initial physician orders, collecting required intake information and verifing insurance. Applicant will also enter required initial authorizations; select orders; enter patients in daily referral log. Documents all customer conversations & correspondence in CIMS/Notes. Obtains, validates, prints, distributes, and tracks certificates of medical necessity (CMN's). Sets up new accounts & corresponding master files (customer, patient, physician, referral, patient EIS, CIMS). Identifies & pursues up selling opportunities Performs basic troubleshooting (financial, mechanical, clinical) & knows how/when to involve specialists Prints. Works Open Order Edit list and Incomplete Information. Reports Maintains error tracking log Coordinate documentation transfer to Billing department and Branch for filing Track Process Improvement Communication Forms Processes consignment inventory orders. Maintains reporting system for Improving Organizational Performance Committee; may participate on Committee

Applicants must be a licensed Respiratory Therapist in Pennsylvania. A knowledge in: Products & Services, Programs & Offerings, Homecare Policies & Procedures required. Payor Guidelines & Compliance, Payor Contracts & Requirements, Medical Terminology, ICD-9 Codes, and Procedure Codes. Proficient in CU/Mestamed & PC (Excel, Word, Lotus Notes, Internet).
Home Medical Equipment Industry - 1-3 years experience is preferred
Customer Service - 1-3 years experience required
