Dept: Office of the Provost
The incumbent will be qualified, motivated, flexible individual with technical knowledge and organizational skills to serve as a Technical Specialist for the Rush University Simulation Laboratory (RUSL). This person will assist in the day to day management and growth of an advanced, University-wide training program that utilizes a human patient simulator and the equipment and equipment systems housed at the Rush Simulation Laboratory, and will support the state of the art educational and research missions of the Center.

Position Type: Full-Time
Education/Special Skills Required: Associates degree in health related background required. Baccalaureate in health related discipline preferred. 2 years of anesthesia critical care or emergency medicine background preferred. Must have BCLS certification. ACLS certification desirable. Strong people skills with some experience in education and training. Must have a working knowledge of curriculum development to include PowerPoint presentations, video equipment and other teaching aids. Excellent computer skills with experience in various data based management tools. Able and willing to commit to a flexible curriculum and work schedule throughout the year.
