Scope of Position:
Responsible for the organization, implementation and development of programs and processes for the Corporate Medical department and Corning Incorporated.

Involved in the RFI and RFP process development for vendor identification, selection and development of program scope and service delivery for the Corporate Medical department and Corning Incorporated.

Works directly with outside consultants, peers and higher level managers in the selection of vendors to deliver programs and processes to support Corning employees, and their dependents.

Develop and restructure on-going maintenance of medical/healthcare programs and processes.

Managerial responsibilities, which include service delivery for behavioral health and substance abuse programs, training, reporting, network development, performance guarantees for the following programs: the behavioral health and employee assistance program; EAP and program administration; Corporate Drug Testing Program; Supplier Partnership Program with occupational health; international medical services and website applications; Health Risk Appraisal; Lifestyle Management and Miavita On-line Programs, and Intracorp Smart Steps Disease Management Program.

Responsible for the compilation of data and reporting for drug testing programs, and Executive Health Programs. Responsible for Total Health program support including the development, implementation and communication of Smoke-free with Healthy Habits, 10,000 Steps, Corning Fitness, and the Nutrition Program.

Development and implementation of 24/7 Safety ad Health program and wellness teams.

Responsible for the contract renewal process for select programs including negotiation of pricing, performance guarantees, and scope of work and delivery of services.

Integral partner in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Company's annual enrollment communication process and highly involved in the data file transfers between the eligibility vendor (ACS) and Total Health programs.

Provides direction to business groups and employees according to established policies and management guidance and the delivery and on-going support of all Total Health Programs and Medical Department objectives.

Responsible for the on-going department management with regard to daily issues and programs and recommendation and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
