Resident Assistant - Green Meadows at Latrobe

The Resident Assistant will provide resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel to assist in maintaining a positive physical and social environment for the residents.  Duties include: assisting residents with activities of daily living; keeping proper records of care; reporting observations to licensed nurse; reporting changes in residents? conditions; monitoring vital signs; assisting with food service; assisting with and documenting medications; responding to emergency call signals; collecting and distributing laundry; helping to maintain all equipment; promoting and encouraging residents to participate in activities; answering phones and other duties as assigned.

 

Qualified candidates will be a licensed CNA, Home Health Aid, Personal Care Home Maker, or have completed 54 hours of training.  Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, community officials, State officials and general public; obtain Food Handlers Permit and meet all State health requirements.  Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
