Resident Services Assistant - West Side Manor-Liverpool

The Resident Services Assistant will be responsible for performing, coordinating and scheduling services and activities in the nursing department, and to provide assistance to the Resident Services Director as needed in maintaining a positive physical and social environment for the residents.  Duties include: orienting, training and supervising caregivers; preparing time schedules; tracking attendance; scheduling/coordinating Care Conferences and Family Conferences; scheduling resident appointments; preparing in-service calendar; conducting audits; coordinating pharmacy activities; handling incoming and outgoing physician information; completing laboratory paperwork; maintaining health records; organizing and filing discharge records; reviewing EERC and obtaining current materials.

 

Qualified candidates will be a licensed CNA, Home Health Aid, Personal Care Home Maker, or have completed state-required training and meet all state health requirements. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, community officials and general public. Candidates must have compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly.
