Primary Duties and Responsibilities
UC is responsible for performing general secretarial, receptionist, and clerical duties on the nursing unit and other duties deemed necessary to ensure quality patient care, under the direction and supervision of the RN.

Qualifications
High school education.

Medical terminology class required.

Satisfactory performance for at least 6 months as a UC, Nursing Assistant with additional training, or related experience preferred.

Ability to perform clerical duties.

Ability to assume responsibility for personal and professional growth.

Health Unit Coordinator Certification desirable.

Successful completion of Order Communications Class.

Able to meet the physical demands as described in the ADA forms on file in the Human Resources Department.
