Licensed Practical Nurse

Description:
1. Prepares patient to be seen by provider by taking vitals (height, weight, pulse, blood pressure, etc.).
2. Assists provider with patient exams, minor surgeries, administering medications and injections.
3. Communication between provider and patient regarding reason for visit, symptoms, etc. Update documentation in medical chart.
4. Contact patients with lab results, follow-up appointments and referrals.
5. Clean, disinfect and autoclave instruments. Clean and organize exam room, maintaining adequate supplies.
6. Order medical charts through system and check for complete and accurate information..

Qualifications:
1. LPN with current Arizona license
2. Current BCLS required.
3. 1-2 years nursing experience preferred
4. IV Certification preferred.
5. Basic Computer skills
6. Ambulatory nursing experience preferred.
