Licensed Practical Nurse-LPN

Alterra, a Brookdale Senior Living company, currently seeks an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse for the Wellington Place of Hampton Cove. an established provider of assisted living services. This is an exciting opportunity for the right healthcare professional.

Under the direct supervision of the Healthcare Coordinator/Residence Director, the LPN will be responsible for providing residents with nursing services and administering medications and treatments in accordance with physicians' orders within state licensure regulations.

Responsibilities include assisting in maintaining a physical, social, and psychological environment in the best interest of residents. Assists HCC in quality assurance programs, training and resident care. Monitoring residents within state licensure regulation; may supervise and direct resident assistants. Assists in writing service plans based on resident needs. Monitors responses to treatment plans, and notifies HCC of any occurrences/changes. Other LPN duties as assigned.

Qualified candidates will possess a LPN/LVN license and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in geriatric or rehab nursing. Must be organized. Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Outlook, preferred but not required. Basic typing skills essential.

Hours are Monday-Friday 2 p.m -10 p.m.
