NURSE TRAINING ANALYSTS

These positions are responsible for the development, delivery and assessment of effective training programs to our utilization management personnel within the designated division, as well as our off-site locations.
Specific responsibilities include:
conducting job-related technical training programs to UM staff
ensuring conformance and quality of authorization entry/service procedures
developing/revising UM training programs/materials
keeping information current and applicable to specific job tasks
evaluating/documenting trainee performance
developing new programs, training materials/manuals
supporting special training projects related to utilization management and various operations areas
acting as a training liaison to identify and support training needs
tracking performance/identifying procedural issues for use in training classes
To qualify, you must be a NJ Licensed RN with 2-3 years of clinical experience in an acute care facility, 2-4 years experience in the healthcare field/industry, and 1-2 years experience in a pre-admissions or utilization management role. Knowledge of managed care principles, utilization management, hospital structures/payment systems, authorization entry process, and Milliman/Robertson Healthcare Guidelines essential. Strong presentation, oral/written communication, organizational and problem-solving skills will be expected. 5 years of training experience, familiarity with PC?s, and a Bachelor?s Degree preferred.
