CLIENT THIRD PARTY CONTRACT MANAGER

Responsibilities:  

The Client Contract Manager helps to develop third party payer strategies, and works with senior management to negotiate contracts with third party payers. The Client Contract Manager maintains regular contact with all third party payers, and works with the billing department to address billing issues. Typically billing issues are outlined and defined by billing office personnel, then are presented to the third party payer by the Client Contract Manager, with the appropriate billing office staff member. Requirements:   Demonstrated people skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Excellent organizational skills Proven ability to improve processes or implement automation Knowledge of Office of Inspector General and other compliance-related laws/guidelines Laboratory technical experience and knowledge of CPT codes and ICD9 codes Bachelor?s degree in finance, business administration or related field or five years of extensive healthcare contract experience including management Knowledge of third party payer terminology, provider network, etc. Demonstrated negotiation skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
