CLS Clinical Lab Scientist

Large hospital system in Northern California is looking for a Clinical Lab Scientist to fill the position of Lab Manager in a 300-bed acute care, CAP facility.

 

The current Lab Manager will be retiring and has left a stable team in place. A team player with strong management skills is needed to maintain the stability of this department.

 

This position is responsible for oversight of 48 FTE's in the hospital lab and outreach lab. This includes 6 supervisors that report to this position.

 

Other responsibilities include hiring, firing, budgets, scheduling, evaluations, training and orientation. This position involves very little hands-on. Must be certified in California CLS
