Clinical Scientist
As the largest hospital system in Central Florida and the busiest hospital in the nation, Florida Hospital cares for more than one million patients a year. With 7 campuses throughout the Orlando area and a total of 1776 beds, Florida Hospital offers a wide range of health services for the entire family and has been recognized as one of Americas Best Hospitals for the sixth consecutive year by U.S. News and World Report. Employees at Florida Hospital enjoy more than high-tech equipment, breakthrough medical programs, and visionary leadership. Our serene, patient-centered environment offers a balanced, spiritual setting-one consistent with our mission to extend the healing ministry of Christ.
Job Description:
Medical Technologist for busy specialist coagulation laboratory. The Clinical Scientist will be required to perform high complexity clinical and research testing accurately and promptly within a dynamic and rapidly changing working environment. Once fully trained, he/she will be required to work independently at weekends and holidays, and will be able to communicate at different levels of education. He/she must be able to maintain composure under pressure, be flexible enough to accommodate rapidly changing priorities, and be capable of performing multiple concomitant assignments in a timely manner. In this way, the position holder will actively contribute to providing outstanding customer service, accept responsibility for maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all, and will clearly demonstrate accountability for his/her own actions and decisions. No specific age groups are identified in the position responsibilities.
There are many reasons to select Florida Hospital as your career home, but it probably comes down to just one. When you decided to go into healthcare, you dreamed of an environment where people cared about each other, both physically and spiritually. You wanted to work at a place that was as passionate about making a difference in people's lives as you were. You may have been looking for a long time or just started on your journey, but you can stop now.
Education: Bachelors
Job Level: 1-3 Years
