JOB DETAILS: PayGrade: 136, Scheduled hours per week: 40.00, Begin and end Times: 8-5; Days of work: M-F

SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for genetic consultation in conjunction with fetal/maternal diagnostic procedures and pre-conceptional counseling.

REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Masters degree (MA/MS) or equivalent in Genetic Counseling; or 4-10 yrs related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Board Certified or Board eligible by the America Board of Medical Genetics or American Board of Genetic Counseling. Certification within three years necessary to maintain position.

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:
Use of PC applications and databases.

KIND & LENGTH OF EXPERIENCE:
Two to three years previous genetic counseling experience.
