Lab Manager

Will oversee our testing and phlebotomy sites in Alaska. Successful candidate will have the ability to promote ongoing service and problem solving to our clients. Responsible for all administrative personnel issues including: interviews, hiring, performance review, payroll  and employee realation. maintains zero-base overtime, collects audit information for PST and PSC P & L, maintain supply inventory, and orients and on going training of all employees.

 

Capable of performing lab testing, maintaining and troubleshooting equipment, performing quality control and quality assurance procedures, and phlebotomy.

 

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal is required. Customer or Client Service background a definite plus.  State driver?s license and good driving record required.

 

Education:

 

The ideal candidate will be a MT/MLT, ASCP preferred, BA/BS Degree or AA degree and must meet CLIA requirement. Prior supervisory experience required, preferable in a medical environment.
