This postition is located at Beth Israel Medical Center - Petrie Division(First Avenue at 16th Street)

Beth Israel Medical Center is a 1,368-bed, full-service tertiary teaching hospital that was founded on Manhattan's Lower East Side before the turn of the 20th century. Beth Israel originally was dedicated to serving a vulnerable population in that community. Opportunity:

Laboratory Technologist:

We are seeking a Lab Tech to

analyze patient specimens, utilizing automated and manual procedures as declines in the laboratory standard operating procedure manuals. Reports results of these analyses into the laboratory information system. Is cognizant of the philosophy, standards, objectives and policies of the Department and the Hospital Center.

 

Requirements:

Bachelor of Science and one year of practical Laboratory training experience required

Must meet NYSDOH requirements as needed.

 

 

Additional Information:

We have 2 positions available;

Clinical Lab Hematology:  Hours: 4pm-12:15am and every other weekend

Clinical Lab Chemistry: Hours: 11:45 pm- 8:00am
