LABORATORY MANAGER / MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST

Excellent opportunity for a career-minded Medical Technologist with proven leadership and management skills to oversee operations at our Phoenix, AZ Laboratory. This is an awesome opportunity to join a very successful, stable, and growing company!

Lab Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth functioning of all departments, making sure that daily test requisitions are run according to protocol and released/reported out on time. Manager will have several direct reports and be responsible for overseeing a staff of approximately 20 techs and assistants.

Ideal candidate will be an experienced Medical Technologist with generalist experience (a strong background in clinical hematology and chemistry is mandatory). Individual must possess excellent interpersonal and leadership skills and have prior supervisory or management experience. Manager will also be expected to be computer proficient, provide excellent problem solving follow-through, and be able to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel.

Shift: very early morning to midday. Weekend work may be required on occasion.
