Ochsner is seeking a Medical Technologist to work in the Venipuncture Department.  Performs phlebotomy procedures following departmental protocol.  Assumes responsibility for completing personal annual competency testing, scheduling, etc.  Performs laboratory tests and calculations to provide data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease.  Performs quality control procedures and evaluates test performance and results. 

 

The successful candidate must possess a Bachelor?s degree; ASCP registered or equivalent is required; current LA license or temporary LA license as Clinical Laboratory Scientist ?
