Medical Technologist - 2nd Shift

The Rhode Island Blood Center is much more than just a blood collection organization. Our more than 350 employees are involved in education, the national marrow donor program, DNA testing and various patient treatment programs at local hospitals. We are also involved in a variety of local and national research programs in an effort to improve all aspects of the blood banking industry.??

We are?currently seeking licensed Medical Technologists (MT) and Technicians (MLT)to join our team in providing specialized testing service in our laboratory in Providence. Hours are a flex schedule between the hours of 2:00 pm - 11:30 pm, Monday - Friday with weekend and holiday rotation.



We are seeking quality-oriented team players to fill vacancies created by company growth and additional testing requirements. As part of the team ensuring the safety of our blood supply, you will perform testing of donor blood samples, label blood components, and document quality control procedures.



MLT (ASCP) certification required with the RI License as a Clinical Laboratory Technician.? Candidates with MT(ASCP) or MLT(ASCP) from other states are encouraged to apply as are new MT or MLT graduates.?
