Medical Technologist

Patient First is currently seeking Medical Technologists for positions in the Richmond, Virginia area. 

 

The responsibilities of the job include, but are not limited to, the following:

q Following the laboratory?s procedures for specimen collection, handling, and processing as well as test analyses, reporting and maintaining records of test results

q Being capable of identifying the problems that may adversely affect test performance or reporting of test results and must either correct the problem or notify a Supervisor

q Adhering to the laboratory?s quality control policies; document all quality control activities, instrument and procedural calibrations and maintenance

q Offering quality laboratory skills and generating a warm and friendly atmosphere for patients and employees

 

The qualified applicant will:

q be at least 18 years of age;

q have a fifty week military Medical Laboratory Procedures course and meet qualifications for military enlisted occupational specialty of ?Medical Laboratory Specialists?; or

q have MT or MLT certification.

 

 

This position offers flexible hours for full-time, part-time, and PRN positions.  New graduates are welcome.
