Medical Technologist and Lab Aids

Nationwide Laboratory Services, Inc. is seeking a Florida Licensed Medical Technologist in Microbiology, Serology, Chemistry, Hematology, and/or Immunohematology for our Hematology & Hepititis department. Also, we are seeking entry level lab aids for our Accessioning and Barcoding department. Nationwide is an industry leader in providing full service clinical laboratory testing services to hospitals, doctor?s offices, clinics and the like. We are a fast-growing and profitable company with sales beyond 35 million annually and over 10 years of business experience. 

 

Shift:

Hematology: 5pm -1:30am; M-F, possible occasional Saturdays

Hepititis: 3pm - 11pm; T-Saturday

Barcoding: 8p-5pm; M-F

Accessioner: 6p-2:30am T-Saturday

 

Equipment:

-Bayer ADVIA 120 experience preferred, but not required.


General Technologist Requirements:
-Knowledge of modern laboratory equipment relating to the field of assignment.
-Knowledge of specific techniques in the performance of various repetitive tests and procedures in the field of assignment.
-Ability to apply scientific and technical knowledge with accuracy and judgment in the completion of tests and examinations.
-Ability to evaluate test results in terms of laboratory control and methods.
-Must be team player and contribute effectively to the overall lab team.
-Good organizational skills.

-Experience in high volume setting.

-Flexibility in scheduling required.
