Our Medical Laboratories are accredited by the College of American Pathologists and participate in a variety of quality assurance programs and clinical trials. Approximately 3.6 million patient samples are processed each year and the laboratory business continues to grow.

We are currently seeking Pathologist's Assistants to join our team of laboratory professionals.  The successful applicant must be a graduate of a NAACLS accredited formal Pathologist?s Assistant Training Program, and be an AAPA (American Association of Pathologists? Assistants) Fellow or eligible. Responsibilities include daily activities associated with the processing of tissues as received from surgical procedures.  Pathologist?s Assistants are expected to prioritize and manage workloads to meet expected turnaround times and specific specimen requirements.  Participation in the education of pathology residents in gross room procedures and in the quality assurance activities that result from these processes is expected as well as participation in the development, implementation, and maintenance of surgical pathology protocols and budgetary goals.
