The Clinical Laboratory Department of Loyola University Medical Center (LUMC) seeks and experienced individual, committed to service excellence to join its team of laboratory professionals. Responsibilities of this full-time, p.m. shift position include: overseeing the daily operations of the section?s staff, equipment, space and supplies; monitoring quality; training staff; ensuring regulatory, institutional and departmental policies are met; trouble shooting issues; and, assisting in the development of new procedures and programs.

Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor?s Degree; a minimum of 4 years of clinical experience, with at least 3 years of Blood Bank technical expertise; be MT (ASCP) credentialed; be able to achieve results in a high-volume, fast-paced environment; and possess excellent communication and problem solving skills. Preferred candidates would also be SBB/eligible and have supervisory experience.
