Become part of our expanding Regional Blood Center that is nationally recognized for involvement in pilot projects.  Responsibilities include communicating directly with hospital customers to ensure ongoing education and appropriate product utilization.  This is an opportunity for a 30+ hour per week position in a challenging and rewarding environment. At least 1-year blood banking experience and MT (ASCP) required. Must have excellent customer service and computer skills with the ability to create and present PowerPoint presentations. 

 

 

Reference Lab Technologist

 

The Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center is seeking a Reference Laboratory Technologist. This position is responsible for performing consultations for hospital blood banks and physicians regarding patient transfusion issues and selection of appropriate blood products.  Will also communicate with hospital customers to ensure ongoing customer education. Requires at least 3 years blood banking experience and MT (ASCP).  SBB or reference experience a plus.
