WEEKEND QUALITY ASSURANCE ANALYST

Requirements and Competencies

* Must possess a 4 year Science degree; or if a 4-year degree in another major, courses taken in Statistics, Chemistry and Microbiology are required
* Must have basic knowledge of laboratory procedures and techniques
* Must be available to work at least three weekends per month
* Must be available to work varying shifts - Days (7 AM - 3 PM), Afternoons (3 PM - 11 PM), Midnights (11 PM - 7 AM)
* Must be able to work in varying temperatures and climates

Primary Responsibilities

* Run routine analytical analysis on bulk beer samples: ph, ballings, alcohol, sodium and iron
* Run routine analysis of packaged beer for oxygen, CO2, and fill contents
* Routine testing of pasteurizers for proper pasteurization
* Inspection of finish package product for proper package integrity and specifications
* Other routine laboratory testing as needed
