APN with Rx Direct Patient Care - Brackenridge

Brackenridge Hospital in Austin, Texas, is looking for Advance Practice Nurses with Rx Direct Patient Care for their ICU.  Qualified candidates must have the following: Graduate of an accredited registered nurse program. Masters degree in Nursing in a specialty area such as family health, trauma, emergency or critical care. Completion of a program of study that meets the requirements for advanced practice nurse by the State of Texas. Minimum of two years RN experience in a Critical Care area.  Current RN license to practice in the State of Texas. Current Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) status in Texas. Current limited prescriptive authority as approved by Texas Board of Nurse Examiners.  One year of advanced practice experience preferred. Brackenridge Hospital is the only Level II Trauma Facility serving the Central Texas area.
