Cardinal Health, Pyxis Products, the market leader in healthcare drug & supply automation, is adding to staff and seeking an Application Specialist. They will coordinate various Pyxis System installations with emphasis on project management, troubleshooting, technical support and training. Additionally, the Application Specialist will be responsible for managing new and existing accounts, maintaining account summaries, and coordinating client resources. They will perform upgrades to existing Pyxis software and hardware systems, as well as ordering equipment and supplies, and completing weekly logs and expense reports.
**This position involves extensive customer interaction and service and regional overnight travel (varies by region).**
BS/BA degree or 2+ years experience in a healthcare environment (pharmacy or nursing) with technical systems involvement or 3+ years with other computerized system applications preferred. Training and teaching experience preferred and moderate technical skills. Demonstration of project management skills in a working environment; working knowledge of software/hardware applications and accessories. Strong interpersonal skills.
