Clinical Solutions Designer - (JM10153)
The Clinical Solutions Designer (CSD) is responsible primarily for monitoring and managing the performance of deployed solutions and for translating proposed new or revised design solutions into a practical, executable, measurable, and financially viable plan of clinical interventions that deliver the clinical and business outcomes specified. The CSD is one of the key collaborators with many different audiences ranging from the Government, Quality Improvement, BEVS, and Training Teams as well as physicians and the nurse end-users who actually execute the plan of intervention. The CSD must be credible and effectively communicate and collaborate with each of these audiences.
Transform evidenced based medicine (EBM) conclusions (product maps) into practical, executable, measurable, and financially viable plans of intervention, including relevant reporting capabilities
Document plans of intervention in a concise manner which focus on those interventions to drive clinical and business outcomes
Effectively manage projects, resulting in the timely and cost effective delivery of product outcomes
Coordinate and incorporate the expertise of physicians, researchers, modelers, nurses, etc. to create the most effective solutions possible
Engage with business development and account management to ensure we develop solutions that are marketable and to ensure we are communicating what we are developing
Coordinate and incorporate the expertise of finance and economic modelers to ensure we develop solutions with an appropriate ROI
Work with the Manage Solutions team to understand how solutions are being executed and how the design team can build even better solutions in the future
Support sales, account management and business development as required
Support the rapid cycling process as requested
Consistently monitor solution delivery performance and solution outcome performance via solution metrics to ensure achievement of expected value proposition (financial, utilization, clinical, delivery, satisfaction)
Intervene and recommend adjustments when solution performance (financial, utilization, clinical, delivery, satisfaction) is not at expected level
Collaborate with the training team to educate and develop training materials and tools
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will recognize, embrace and arrive into the position aligned with the philosophy, mission, values and vision of Healthways. This key individual will be able to demonstrate these values with his/her leadership practices. This individual will also possess both the integrity and demeanor consistent with professionally representing Healthways. Strong research, analytical, project management, communication (written and spoken), and collaboration skills along with intellectual curiosity, are all extremely important. Risk tolerance and experience with process development are also important. Computer literacy (internet, MSWord, Excel, Outlook) is required.
The successful candidate will be a licensed RN with a minimum of a bachelor's degree (masters' preferred). This individual will have a minimum of 5-10 years of both clinical health-care related experience and business/leadership experience. Strong project management and proven ability to communicate and collaborate with many different audiences is critical to this position. The incumbent must also be willing to travel up to 50% at peak times - typical travel does not exceed 25%.
