Durable Medical Equipment Manager

REM ST ) is the durable medical equipment arm of a comprehensive sleep medicine specialty practice and is currently seeking a Sleep Therapy Supply Manager located in the greater Phoenix area. 

 

The Sleep Therapy Manager will operate, lead and direct the activities of REM ST to provide the best possible patient care targeting therapy for sleep disordered breathing.  This individual will be responsible for manage all personnel, inventory and logistics of REM ST as well as implementing comprehensive customer care and compliance programs to ensure optimal patient care through follow-up communication.  This individual will plan and develop technical policies and goals, and implements those goals.  The Sleep Therapy Manager will coordinate efforts to assess the technical feasibility of services performed to develop new markets, increase share of market, and obtain competitive position in market place.  It is important that this individual builds community relationships to ensure that patients find optimal therapeutic solutions for their sleep disorder beyond what REM ST might provide.  As the link to corporate level management, this individual will be responsible for outlining policy, program, or operations changes to be implemented.

 

Specific job duties will include:

? Develop and administer policies and procedures that provide a high level of quality care and services for patients and their families. Act as liaison between patients and other health care service providers

? Direct process improvement activities that provide more efficient and streamlined workflow

? Present results of improvement efforts and ongoing performance measures of clinical processes to senior management

? Develop strategic plans for improvement within the facility in collaboration with administrative and clinical leaders

? Ensure all regulatory applications and inspections are performed in a timely manner.

? Complete capital purchase requests in a timely and fiscally responsible manner.

? Manage, lead and direct the work of others

? Oversee all aspects of an organization's inventory management policies, objectives, and initiatives

? Ensure accurate and timely billing

? Implement supply chain procedures for optimal performance of site.

? Evaluate new operational methodologies that would increase efficiencies, provide competitive advantage and reduce costs.

? Implement personnel hiring procedures including healthcare packets and timesheet processes.

? Define, implement, and maintain technical policies and procedures including quality assurance.

 

Required Skills:

? Three to five years experience in durable medical equipment operations/management

? Management experience with demonstrated strong leadership skills

? Strong knowledge of operating procedures

? Technically skilled

? High level of customer service, patient education and care

? Sleep disorder experience a plus

? RT license is a plus
