Home Respiratory Therapist - (KP11375)

Centene Corporation provides multi-line managed care programs and related services to individuals receiving benefits in Medicaid, including Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and the State Children's Health Insurance (SCHIP). Centene operates health plans in seven states. In addition, the Centene contracts with other healthcare organizations to provide specialty services including behavioral health, disease management, nurse triage and treatment compliance.

Position Summary
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
oPlanning, performing and documenting the delivery of patient education services in accordance with the policies of AirLogix.
oPerforming the initial respiratory assessment, environmental assessment, education presentation and basic respiratory questionnaire.
oPerforming follow-up assessment and presentation of the physician's treatment plan and medication regimen.
oOther duties as deemed necessary

Knowledge/Experience:
Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy Graduate of a two year AMA approved Respiratory Program. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) as recognized by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) and licensed by the work-site state as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. 1- 2 years practical experience required.

Licenses/Certifications:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) as
recognized by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) and licensed by the work-
site state as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. Current CPR certification.
