Infection Control Practitioner

The Position The Infection Control Practitioner is responsible for the hospital-wide infection control program, infection control surveillance, education, monitoring trends that have been identified through surveillance, and maintaining all regulatory functions.


This individual functions as a consultant to all hospital staff on infection control issues and liaisons between the infection control committee and other hospital departments.


Qualified candidates will have bachelor?s degree in a health related field with at least two years experience in infection control.  Strong knowledge of infection control standards is required.
