Cardinal Health, Pyxis Products, the market leader in healthcare drug & supply automation, is adding to staff and seeking an Integration Engineer. Will be responsible for providing computer system interfaces and various on-site software support to Cardinal Health, Pyxis customers (primarily hospitals). Will also provide technical assistance for preparation and setup of various system hardware provided to customers. Integration Engineer will conduct technical client meetings and provide written and verbal communication to Pyxis Products team and client regarding technical issues. Will be responsible for facilitating design, setup and installation of interfaces, 24-hour support of client technical issues and acting as technical liaison to team. Will provide technical sales support and perform upgrades to software and hardware.



**This is a field-based position working from a home office with little direct contact with a supervisor. Will be responsible for servicing clients via dial-up or day travel within a 4-hour radius of home office. Will require approximately 25% overnight travel.**



Ideal candidate will have BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS or equivalent experience.  Prefer 2+ years experience in systems integration across multiple platforms.  Experience with pharmacy and healthcare materials management vendors preferred.A strong technical knowledge base and customer service skills are essential.  Healthcare information systems and related software experience a plus (HL7, EDI, SQL). 


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS - Must be able to lift 70+ lbs and handle considerable amount of pushing, pulling, stooping, bending and lifting as necessary.
