i3 DLN is a full-service, accredited provider of continuing medical education (CME). We use dynamic multimedia technology such as satellite broadcasting, Webcasting and Video DIALoguesTM, as well as traditional methods including dinner meetings, symposia and enduring materials to deliver clinical expertise in several therapeutic areas, most notably CNS, oncology and cardiology.


 


We are seeking an experienced Medical Editor for work in our Morristown, NJ or State College, PA offices to:


Provide full range of medical editing skills for i3 DLN, ensuring consistently high-quality editorial output

Provide medical editing, copyediting, and proofreading of all text (including monographs, abstracts, slides, and other meeting materials and their spin-offs) amid tight deadlines and heavy workload

Format materials according to company style

Verify all reference citations for accuracy and completeness; generate reference lists in required output styles

Foster optimal work relationships with staff and external freelancers; effectively communicate the status of projects, providing continual feedback and recommendations to teams


3 to 5 years experience (minimum) editing and proofing medical text in all production stages
Bachelors degree (minimum) in English, science, or healthcare-related field
Proven editing skills, encompassing attention to detail, accuracy, readability, awareness of target audience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to retain accuracy and high quality of work under constant pressure of tight deadlines and heavy workload
Fluency in AMA style
Expertise in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Internet search techniques
Knowledge of Reference Manager and CompareRite software
