Needed:  An OBGYN Physician to join a Physician/Midwife staff.

A small private practice in a small town.

 

Full time / Full scope.  Work to begin as early as October 2006.

 ?salary might begin early as an incentive bonus.

 

The location is Laurinburg, (southeastern) North Carolina.  Two hours from two International Airports, an hour and a half to the beach, four hours to the mountains.  No commuter traffic and none of the stress associated with life in the city, yet only a short drive to unlimited shopping outlets. Property values are quite reasonable, in a lovely region of the state.

 

Above average salary, benefits, profit sharing, and a relaxed atmosphere.  One-in-5 call rotation.  Currently an all-female staff, male applicants welcome.

 

The local hospital is Scotland Memorial Hospital. The Scotland Health Care System has the advantage of small-town influence but is not a tiny facility.  Constantly expanding to meet the needs of a growing community, they have a staff of close to a thousand full-time and part-time associates. Sixty-two local physicians cover a comprehensive range of specialties. Updated LDRs and Mother-Baby unit. Outstanding and seasoned L&D nursing staff. Level II nursery.  Leading edge L&D Surveillance using WatchChild? fetal/maternal monitoring system, with remote access available from office or home.
