Qualifications

Experience providing acute/critical care. Able to assess an emergent situation. Certified in BLS/CPR.

Experience administering medication orally, subcutaneously, and through an IV.

Good diagnostic and clinical skills. Understanding of how patient's signs and symptoms relate to a disease process.

Experience in health promotion, maintenance, and prevention.

Works productively with others in the medical team.

Basic pharmacology skills, including understanding medical jargon and dispensing of medication orally, through an IV, and subcutaneously.

Builds trust and is patient and responsive to client's needs.

MD or equivalent experience.

Speaks clearly and effectively in a variety of settings.

Understanding of symptoms and treatment of adult health disorders.

Experience working in a hospital environment.

Available to infrequently work after hours and weekends, if required.
