Physician - Center Medical Director

Summary of Position

The Center Medical Director works in coordination with the center administrator and under the direction of the Regional Medical Director to accomplish the goals of Concentra Health Services - to deliver the highest quality, responsible occupational healthcare to business, industry, and employees in an efficient, affordable, accountable manner.

Medical

* Full time provider of high quality occupational medical care, including injury care and physicals in fast-paced walk-in clinic.

* Recruits, supervises and trains full time staff physicians and mid-level providers.

* Recruits, orients and trains fill-in providers.

* Conferences with other Center Medical Directors and Regional medical Director to review and implement 'best practices' in Occupational Medical Care.

Leadership/Teamwork

* Meets weekly with Physical Therapy Director, Center Administrator and Health Services Manager to review clinic effectiveness and plan for clinic growth and development.

* Participates in and promotes client relations with other members of the leadership team.

* Provides input into staff hiring and clinical training

BC in Occupational Medicine or Primary Care. Two years of experience perferred.
